JAKARTA – RIBUAN Massa sejak pukul 06.00 pagi datang berduyun-duyun ke Condet. Dengan mengenakan kaus putih, warga dari segala usia datang untuk ikut jalan sehat memperingati HUT Global Internasional School (GIS) yang ke 17, Jakarta, Minggu (17/3/2019).
Pendiri Global Internasional School (GIS) Buyar Winarno dalam sambutan pembukaannya mengatakan rasa syukurnya karena telah hadir 17 tahun membantu pemerintah dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan.
“Ini berarti masyarakat sudah menerima kehadiran GIS. Kami berterimakasih kepada masyarakat,” ujar Buyar
Sejumlah pejabat hadir pada Milad GIS Ke-17 ya itu Ketua MPR RI Zulkifli Hasan, Walikota Jakarta Timur Azwar dan Kadis Pendidikan Raityono.
Sementara itu, salah seorang pengunjung Julian Caesar Pidie yang datang dari Jati Asih, Bekasi mengatakan alasan datang ke acara Jalan sehat GIS karena banyak doorprize yang dijanjikan panitia.
“Saya berharap bisa dapat hadiah umroh untuk kedua orang tua saya,” ujar Julian yang mantan pemeran sinetron Jaka Tingkir cilik era tahun 2014. (Zul dan Tarmezy).
