JAKARTA – BADAN Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Kesbangpol) DKI Jakarta mengharapkan 300 peserta kegiatan sosialiasi “Peningkatan Pemahaman Undang-Undang bidang Politik Tahun 2018″ bisa menjadi agen perubahan masyarakat bagi peningkatan kualitas demokrasi di daerah khusus Ibukota.
“Kami berharap, usai mengikuti kegiatan ini ibu-ibu dan bapak-bapak bisa berbondong-bondong mengajak masyarakat untuk ikut memilih pada hari pencoblosan Rabu, 17 April 2019,” ujar Kabid Politik dan Demokrasi Kesbangpol DKI Jakarta, Muhammad Asyik Noorhilmani ketika membuka kegiatan di Hotel Lumire, Jakarta, Senin (26/11/2018) ini didampingi Kasubbid Fasilitasi Demokrasi Tumpal Detner.
Menurut Asyik, partisipasi politik warga Jakarta pada Pemilu Serentak 2019 yang jatuh pada 17 April 2019 diharapkan akan mampu mempertahankan capaian Indeks Demokrasi Indonesia (IDI) untuk DKI Jakarta sebesar 84.75.
Berbicara mewakili Plt. Kepala Kesbangpol DKI Jakarta yang berhalangan hadir, Asyik menjelaskan warga Jakarta diminta untuk terus mempertahankan score IDI di Jakarta itu. Salah satu caranya dari sisi pemda yaitu pihaknya terus aktif melakukan Sosialisasi “Peningkatan Pemahaman Undang-Undang Bidang Politik Tahun 2018” bagi seluruh elemen masyarakat yang ada di Jakarta.
Dijelaskannya, Kesbangpol DKI Jakarta bangga dan berterimakasih kepada warga pemilih Jakarta yang sadar politik dan cerdas. Karena itu diharapkan skore IDI paska Pemilu 2019 sekurangnya bisa bertahan di angka 84.75 bahkan bisa meningkat lebih tinggi lagi.
Pemilu, lanjut Asyik, merupakan pesta demokrasi untuk menghasilkan pemimpin 5 tahun ke depan. Dengan demikian maka pilihan anda akan menentukan kualitas pemimpin kita baik di tingkat legislatif maupun pemimpin nasional.
Kesbangpol DKI Jakarta ingin menyampai 2 pesan. Pertama, gunakan hak pilih dengan cerdas.
“Kita berharap, anda tidak golput. Sebaliknya gunakan hak pilih secara cerdas. Pilihlah pemimpin yang visionoer, memiliki integritas, bersih, cerdas dan berakhlak. Hanya pemimpin yang terbaik yang akan mampu mewujudkan cita-cita Indonesia yang maju, dan bermatabat dan mampu mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya,” harap Asyik.
Pesan kedua, lanjut Asyik, pastikan nama anda sudahkan namanya terdaftar di Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT). Ini penting agar tidak ada pemilih siluman. Karena itu, mari kita awal, dan pengawalan masyarakat penting. Karena itu, mari kita kawal bersama.
Sementara itu, dalam laporan kegiatannya, Kasubdit Demokrasi, Mahzar Setibudi mengatakan kegiatan sosialisasi bertema “Peningkatan Pemahaman Undang-Undang Bidang Politik Tahun 2018” ini diikuti 300 peserta terdiri dari; BKPRMI, Pemuda Katholik, Pemuda Kristen, Lembaga Tinggi Masyarakat Adat Gerakan Muda Kiara, Pemuda Al Washliyah, Masyarakat Aisiyah, Pemuda Anshor, Fatayat NU, Lembaga Tinggi Masyarakat Adat Republik Indonesia, Pencak Silat Jakarta Bambu Wuluh, dan Perhimpunan Ikatan Silat Betawi Jaya, Lembaga Pemuda Peduli Jakarta.
Adapun materinya, kata Mahzar ada dari KPU, Marlina, Bawaslu Burhanuddin, Pakar, Gun Gun Heriyanto, dan hiburan Stand Up Comedy. (Abu Alvin)
