Presiden Buka Festival Keraton Nusantara di Sumenep

PRESIDEN Joko Widodo dan Ibu Negara Iriana Widodo menghadiri Festival Keraton Nusantara dan Masyarakat Adat ASEAN ke-V di Keraton Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, Minggu (28/10).

Seusai dengan tema acara, Jokowi dan Iriana tiba di lokasi mengenakan pakaiaan adat Jawa, lengkap dengan mahkota dan beskap hitam dan keemasan.

Sejumlah tokoh hadir dalam festival ini dengan memakai pakaian adat. Mereka di antaranya Menteri Pariwisata Arief Yahya, dan Gubernur Jawa Timur Soekarwo, termasjk sekitar 300 raja, ratu, permaisuri, pangeran dan putri keraton se-Indonesia.

Acara ini dilaksanakan untuk menjaga tali silaturahim antarkeraton. Selain itu, meningkatkan peran sebagai warisan budaya bangsa.

Saat memberikan sambutan, Jokowi meminta warga keraton menjaga persatuan, persaudaraan, dan kerukunan di masyarakat. Pasalnya, ketiga hal itu merupakan aset terbesar bangsa Indonesia.

Jokowi juga mengingatkan, meski berbeda agama, suku, adat, dan tradisi, seluruh rakyat Indonesia harus saling menghargai.

“Betapa kita bisa melihat sekarang ini perbedaan kita. Beda agama, adat, tradisi, suku. Inilah anugerah yang diberikan Allah kepada kita bangsa Indonesia. Berbeda suku, agama, adat, tradisi tapi ini akan jadi potensi dan kekuatan apabila kita bersatu, rukun,” tandas mantan Wali Kota Solo itu.

Ia juga meminta masyarakat tidak mudah terjebak pada ujaran kebencian, fitnah, dan hoaks.

“Itu tidak diajakan nenek moyang, leluhur, para sultan dan kerajaan kita yang lalu. Mari majukan peradaban yang terhormat dan beradab,” kata dia.

Jokowi menegaskan, kemajuan bangsa di bidang teknologi harus disertai dengan kearifan lokal. Jangan sampai kearifan lokal perlahan-lahan punah digilas zaman.

“Jangan sampai Indonesia maju dalam teknologi tapi mundur dalam kebudayaan, peradaban. Jangan sampai terjadi. Kemajuan harus terus berakar pada kearifan lokal,” pesannya.(Lutfi/mediaindonesia.com)
