Presiden Jokowi Dorong Rumah Sakit Antisipasi Perubahan Global

Jakarta – Saat membuka Kongres XIV Perhimpunan Rumah Sakit Seluruh Indonesia (PERSI) pada Rabu, 17 Oktober 2018, di JCC, Presiden Joko Widodo kembali menyebut soal revolusi industri keempat yang sudah di depan mata. McKinsey Global Institute bahkan menyebut revolusi industri tersebut akan berdampak tiga ribu kali lipat dari revolusi industri yang pertama.

Bidang kesehatan pun juga akan terjamah oleh revolusi industri tersebut melalui perubahan-perubahan yang sangat cepat dan berdampak. Kepala Negara mengingatkan para pengelola rumah sakit untuk sadar dan bersiap menghadapi perubahan itu.

“Di bidang kesehatan akan terjadi perubahan-perubahan itu. Revolusi teknologi telah meredefinisi _healthcare industry_. Hati-hati ini,” ujarnya.

Menurutnya, PERSI harus segera mengantisipasi dan menyiapkan inovasi yang diperlukan agar rumah sakit mampu melayani pasien dengan baik. Sudah banyak inovasi yang dilakukan di dunia kesehatan. Seperti misalnya saat ini sudah terdapat aplikasi gawai yang dikhususkan bagi anak-anak untuk mengedukasi pentingnya menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar. Adapula inovasi lain yang memungkinkan kondisi kesehatan pasien untuk dapat dipantau tanpa harus mendatangi fasilitas rumah sakit.

“Saya setuju bahwa rumah sakit kita harus menjadi _smart hospital_,” ucap Presiden.

Terhadap segala perubahan dan inovasi itu, Presiden berharap agar para pengelola rumah sakit mampu membawa dan menerapkannya dalam manajemen rumah sakit mereka. Hal itu tidak lain dilakukan untuk menjamin masyarakat untuk mendapatkan akses kesehatan secara penuh.

“Saya mengajak semua dengan kemampuan yang kita miliki untuk secara efektif memastikan masyarakat mendapat akses kesehatan secara penuh,” tuturnya.(lutfi/meteorpublik.com)
