Bupati Gowa, Adnan Purichta Ichsan meresmikan pondok Tahfidz Ashabul Jannah Pesantren Hidayatullah yang berlokasi di Dusun Bollangi, Desa Timbuseng, Kecamatan Pattallassan, Senin (1/10).
Peresmian ini ditandai dengan penandatanganan prasasti, didampingi Camat Pattallassang dan Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah.
Adnan dalam kesempatan tersebut mengatakan, untuk membangun suatu daerah yang makin baik kedepan, maka yang dibutuhkan adalah Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang baik. Membangun SDM yang baik tentu harus berlandaskan dengan ilmu yang baik.
“Oleh karena itu kalau kita ingin melihat kemajuan suatu daerah, maka liat pendidikannya, maka liat SDMnya. Kalau SDMnya makin baik, maka yakin daerah tersebut akan maju,” jelasnya.
Tak hanya itu, Adnan juga megutarakan bahwa pendidikan ilmu itu harus berbanding lurus dengan ilmu agama.
“Dan sekarang pendidikan karakter harus menjadi prioritas kita bersama, karena di semua negara maju yang menjadi referensi di dunia mengatakan bahwa saya lebih takut anak saya tidak tau budaya antri dibanding, membaca dan berhitung,” ungkap Bupati Adnan.
Inilah yang saat ini kita sudah mulai programkan di Gowa, dengan membentuk karakter anak-anak kita sejak dini, barulah kita mengajarkan membaca dan berhitung. Makanya saya sangat senang kalau ada pesantren, ada sekolah yang lebih memprioritaskan pendidikan karakternya,” tambah bupati termuda di KTI ini.
Dia menyebutkan sejak pesantren ini didirikan, dia terus memonitor setiap kegiatan yang ada di tempat ini. Setiap bulan pasti menyempatkan waktu untuk berbincang bersama pimpinan pondok pesantren tersebut.
“Alhamdulillah tahun lalu atas nama Pemkab Gowa kami sumbang kurang lebih 150 juta untuk pembangunan pesantren ini. Karena aturan yang ada saat ini dilarang setiap tahun menyumbang, maka untuk tahun ini kami tidak sumbang. Jadi Insyaallah tahun depan saya sumbang lagi untuk pesantren ini,” pungkas Bupati Adnan.
Dia juga berharap dengan adanya pesantren Hidayatullah anak-anak yang ada di pondok ini bisa menjadi hafidz dan menjadi pendakwah yang baik di Kabupaten Gowa dalam memperjuangkan agamanya.
Sementara, Pimpinan pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah, Mustakim menyampaikan jika pondok pesantren tersebut dibangun dengan hanya beberapa pengurus dan pengajar yang rela meninggalkan kerjaannya yang lebih baik untuk bersama-sama merintis pondok tahfidz ini agar bisa lebih berkembang.
“Kami ingin mencetak hafidz dan pendakwah satu orang masing masing di setiap dusun. Hanya saja yang menjadi kendala saat ini sehingga kami tidak berani menerima banyak santri, selain aksesnya, air untuk mandi kami masih kekurangan. Para santri kalau ingin mandi mereka keluar dari pondok ini, padahal target kami mampu mendidik hingga 1000 santri, tapi saat ini kami baru menampung 40 orang santri saja,” bebernya.
Menurut Mustakim, pihaknya juga berterima kasih atas segala bantuan yang diberikan oleh Pemkab Gowa, semoga apa yang menjadi keinginan pondok pesantren tersebut dalam mendukung program Pemkab Gowa dapat berhasil dan sesuai yang diharapkan.
