JAKARTA – KEMENTERIAN Dalam Negeri melalui Direktorat Jenderal Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum (Polpum) mengharapkan jajaran pengurus Pemuda Panca Marga (PPM) dari mulai tingkat Kabupaten kota, Provinsi hingga pusat turut serta bersama pemerintah mengawal pelaksanan Pemilu Serentak 2019 agar berjalan dengan aman, tertib, dan kondusif.

“Organisasi Kemasyarakatan PPM selama ini memiliki imej yang positif  dimata masyarakat dan pemerintah. Imej yang baik ini harus terus dilanjutkan dengan berpartisipasi mengawal Pemilu Serentak 2019,” ujar Dirjen Polpum Kemendagri Soedarmo di  Auditorium BPSDM Kemendagi di Jalan Raya Kalibata, Jakarta, Sabtu (29/9/2018).

Soedarmo menjelaskan, tahapan Pemilu Serentak yang baru saja dimulai dengan agenda Masa Kampanye Damai selama 6 bulan dari mulai 23 September sampai bulan April tahun 2019 akan sarat dengan banyaknya berita hoax, ujaran kebencian dan black campaign. Diakuinya,  Pilpres dan Pileg 2019 ini akan ada peningkatan suhu politik hingga tahun depan.

Karena itu, Soedarmo meminta agar PPM bisa berperan serta dalam membantu pemerintah agar Pemilu Serentak 2019 berjalan dengan sukses.

Soedarmo menuturkan, saat ini jumlah Ormas yang terdaftar pada pemerintah tanggal 24 September 2019 adalah sebanyak 391.734 Ormas di mana jumlah tersebar di Kemendagri, Kemenlu dan Kemenkum HAM.

“Dengan jumlah ormas yang sangat banyak tersebut dapat menjadi potensi pembangunan bangsa yang strategis untuk membantu pemerintah  mensukseskan tujuan pembangunan nasional,” paparnya.

Dari jumlah ormas itu, Soedarmo memahami ada ormas yang kinerjanya bagus dan tidak. Dia mencontohkan kemaren masih adanya oknum ormas yang ribut fisik di Jakarta Selatan. Ormas yang baik harusnya memiliki program yang membantu masyarakat dan bukannya  melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan yang mengganggu ketentraman dan ketertiban masyarakat.

“Begitu ormas melakukan kegiatan negatif, berita itu langsung menjadi isu nasional. Ini merugikan nama ormas itu sendiri. Karena itu, saya berpesan agar Ormas PPM terus melakukan pembinaan jajarannya dari mulai kabputen kota hingga provinsi agar menjaga reputasi, kehormatan dan nama baik PPP.

Anggota ormas PPM, lanjutnya, merupakan bagian dari keluarga veteran, Karena itu, anda harus menjaga nama baik para pejuang yang mendirikan PPM ini.

Soedarmo menambahkan, pemerintah terus memantau kinerja ormas. Jika ada laporan pelanggaran ormas baik perorangan maupun organisasi, dan arah pelanggarannya masih bisa dibina, pemerintah akan membinanya. Sebaliknya, jika ada ormas yang perannya bertentangan dengan UUD ‘1945 dan Pancasila kami tidak segan-segan akan mencabut izinnya.

Kegiatan “Komunikasi Sosial Kemasyarakatan dan Pembahasan Isu-Isu Strategis bidang Keormasan”  yang diprakasai Direktorat Ormas Kemendagri dihadiri pejabat di lingkungan Kemendagri yaitu Direktur Keormasan, Lutfi, dan Direktur Politik Dalam Negeri, Laode Ahmada Palombo, Kepala Bagian Perencanaan, Risnanda Himawa, Kepala Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BPSDM) Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Tegus Setyabudi dan Ketua Deparnas PPM, Joesoef Faisal.
