Perempuan Buat Politik Lebih ‘Friendly’

JAKARTA – Ketua Umum Muslimat NU Khofifah Indar Parawansa mengatakan dengan semakin banyaknya perempuan yang menjadi pemimpin terpilih sebagai kepala daerah maka diharapkan politik menjadi lebih bersahabat.

“Meningkatnya partisipasi perempuan dalam politik akan menjadi bagian dari ‘performance’ politik yang lebih ‘friendly’,” kata Khofifah pada halal bihalal Muslimat NU di Gedung Konvensi Taman Makam Pahlawan Kalibata, Jakarta, Minggu (8/7/2018).

Calon gubernur nomor urut satu pada Pilkada Jawa Timur itu juga mengaku senang dengan semakin meningkatnya partisipasi politik anak muda di Jawa Timur dalam menggunakan hak pilihnya.

“Mudah-mudahan nantinya mereka juga akan masuk pada proses politik berikutnya karen kebersamaan kita untuk membangun demokrasi yang berkualitas itu penting. Seluruh lini saya kira punya kesempatan dan peluang yang sama untuk berproses termasuk mengikuti kontestasi pilkada,” katanya.

Terlebih lagi dalam waktu dekat akan dilaksanakan pemilihan legislatif sehingga perempuan dan anak muda perlu terus meningkatkan partisipasi politiknya.

Apalagi dalam regulasi sudah mengatur tentang 30 persen keterwakilan perempuan dalam politik sehingga semuanya sama-sama bertanggung jawab untuk memenuhinya, tambah Khofifah.

“Tentu harus terus mendorong keterwakilan perempuan dan hadirnya perempuan ke TPS karena akan memberikan dampak terhadap kemungkinan keterpilihan perempuan, dan akan meningkatkan pada keterwakilan perempuan. Jadi semua mendorong perempuan lebih banyak dari tingkat keterwakilannya,” ujar Khofifah.

Khofifah mundur dari jabatan Menteri Sosial Kabinet Kerja dan ikut dalam Pilkada Jawa Timur berpasangan dengan Emil Elestianto Dardak sebagai Calon Wakil Gubernur.

Berdasarkan hasil hitung cepat pasangan nomor urut satu itu unggul dibandingkan pasangan nomor urut dua yaitu Saifullah Yusuf dan Puti Guntur Soekarno.

Dalam rapat pleno penetapan rekapitulasi hasil Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) 2018 yang dilaksanakan Komisi Pemilihan Umum Jawa Timur (KPU Jatim) pada Sabtu (7/7) pasangan Khofifah dan Emil juga dinyatakan unggul dengan meraih 53,55 persen atau 10.465.218 suara dan Gus Ipul-Puti 46,45 persen atau 9.076.014 suara.(Wartaekonomi.co.id)
