PEMERINTAH terus mendorong pelaksanaan program padat karya tunai (PKT) di daerah-daerah untuk menyerap tenaga kerja di desa-desa ini. Hal itu dipandang bermanfaat oleh masyarakat karena mengurangi pengangguran di daerah.

“Program ini mampu menyerap tenaga kerja di desa-desa dan bahkan oleh masyarakat dianggap bermanfaat mengurangi pengangguran di desa-desa,” ungkap Menteri Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal, dan Transmigrasi (Mendes PDTT) Eko Putro Sandjojo ketika meninjau pemanfaatan padat karya tunai di Desa Singakerta dan Desa Sayan, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali, Sabtu (7/7).

Eko mencontohkan di Desa Singakerta, Bali, program PKT dilaksanakan salah satunya dalam bentuk pembuatan saluran irigasi subak delod desa, dengan anggaran bersumber dari dana desa sebesar Rp78,3 juta.

Pengerjaannya menyerap tenaga kerja hingga 22 orang dengan upah untuk tukang sebesar Rp100 ribu dan buruh Rp80 ribu, serta dilakukan secara swakelola dengan waktu pengerjaan 90 hari.

Kepala Subak Desa Singakerta Gusti Ngurah Gede merasakan langsung manfaat PKT dari dana desa. “Dengan adanya Undang-Undang Desa, pemerintah berikan bantuan yang bermanfaat untuk masyarakat kecil serta dampaknya terasa oleh anggota subak,” ujar Ngurah Gede saat di temui di Desa Singakerta.

Subak untuk 86 KK dengan luas lahan 45 ha itu menghasilkan produksi 50 kg gabah/are. Subak terletak di samping jurang sehingga airnya tidak mengalir.

“Subak kami dari segi wilayah terlalu luas karena paling hilir dari 16 subak yang ada. Dengan pembuatan irigasi ini, kami harap irigasi bakal mempermudah aliran air,” ujarnya.

Hal sama juga dialami Desa Sayan, Kecamatan Ubud, Gianyar. Masyarakat merasakan manfaat program padat karya dengan dana desa. Seperti yang dikatakan I Dewa Gede Agung, Kepala Desa Sayan, dana desa bermanfaat bagi tingkat perkembangan di desa.

“Tahun ini dialokasikan 289 juta untuk jalan lingkungan dengan paving, dengan panjang jalan 1.446 m,” tutur dia.

Pengerjaan dilakukan 60 hari dengan menyerap tenaga kerja sekitar 36 orang.(Mediaindonesia.com)
