Balai Pelayanan Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BP3TKI) Nunukan memulangkan jenasah TKI/Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) asal Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) yang menjadi korban dalam kecelakaan tabrakan antara dua kapal motor cepat (Speedboat) yang mengangkut sejumlah PMI dari Malaysia, di perairan Malaysia, Pulau Sebatik, Malaysia, Jumat (29/6/2018) lalu.
Saat ini, ketiga jenasah korban atas nama Agustina Jawa Kelen, Viani Nuktin, dan Maria Goreti Barek Beguir, telah dipulangkan ke kampung halaman masing-masing, di Larantuka, Flores Timur, dengan difasilitasi oleh BP3TKI Nunukan dan BP3TKI Kupang hingga tiba di kampung halaman.
Jenasah Agustina dan Maria dipulangkan melalui rute penerbangan dari Tarakan transit di Denpasar, Bali, kemudian ke Maumere dan tiba pukul 12.30 WITA, selanjutnya diantar ke desa Riang Kemie, Ile Mandiri, Flores Timur didampingi staf BP3TKI Kupang bersama keluarga korban yang menjemput di Maumere. Sementara jenasah Viany Mukin pemulangan melalui rute (Tarakan, Surabaya, Kupang, Maumere), tiba di Kupang (3/7/2018) dan diberangkatkan ke Maumere pukul 15:00 WITA difasilitasi BP3TKI Kupang.
Namun, ada pula satu jenazah atas nama Yordimus Waton, anak dari PMI Agustina Jawakelen yang baru ditemukan pada Minggu (1/7) pagi, batal dipulangkan karena kondisi tubuhnya tidak memungkinkan lagi, sehingga disemayamkan di Nunukan.
Menurut Kepala Seksi Pemberdayaan dan Perlindungan BP3TKI Nunukan, Arbain, para PMI yang meninggal tersebut memiliki dokumen sah bekerja di Malaysia. Namun, paspor milik mereka ditahan majikan sehingga terpaksa pulang ke Indonesia menggunakan jalur ilegal dari Tawau menuju Pulau Sebatik.
Deputi Perlindungan BNP2TKI, Dr. Anjar Prihantoro, menyampaikan rasa bela sungkawa atas kejadian tersebut, dan senantiasa mengingatkan agar para PMI dalam berangkat maupun pulang harus secara prosedural dan menggunakan jalur resmi agar tidak ada lagi kejadian seperti ini. (Kanigoro.com)
