GUBERNUR DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan mengatakan pertemuan antara dirinya dengan Ketua MPR RI Zulkifli Hasan berisi pembahasan mengenai pulau reklamasi ke depannya. Ia mengaku hanya menyampaikan perkembangan tentang kebijakan pulau reklamasi.

“Jadi saya cerita tentang perkembangan tentang kebijakan ke depan soal reklamasi, disampaikan bahwa ini udah ada lengkap nih hasil verifikasi reklamasi disana, semua udah proses, sesudah semuanya lengkap kita akan umumkan, sekarang updet aja dulu,” kata Anies di Gedung DPR RI, Jakarta, Kamis (5/7).

Anies menegaskan bahwa pihaknya tetap konsisten untuk menghentikan kegiatan di pulau reklamasi. Selain itu, kata dia, pulau yang sudah jadi akan dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan publik. “Yang belum (jadi) tidak dibangun dan semua kegiatan disana sekarang sedang dilakukan pemeriksaan verifikasi nanti,” katanya.

Saat ditanyakan sampai kapan penyetopan kegiatan pembangunan di pulau reklamasi akan berlaku, Anies menegaskan keputusan penghentian tersebut tidak akan berubah. “Dihentikan ya dihentikan, titik,” tegasnya.(Mediaindonesia.com)
