JAKARTA – Menteri Dalam Negeri Tjahjo Kumolo mengukuhkan Dirjen Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum (Polpum) Soedarmo sebagai Penjabat Sementara (Pjs) Gubernur Papua menggantikan Lukas Enembe yang maju sebagai kandidat petahana dalam pemilihan gubernur.
“Selamat Pak Darmo. Bapak kini Pjs Gubernur dari Sabang sampai Merauke,” ujar Pemred Kesbang.com, Zulfikri D. Jacub ketika menemuinya usai pelantikan di kantor Kemendagri, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (26/2/2018).
Dalam catatan redaksi, Dirjen Polpum yang akrab dengan wartawan ini sebelumnya sempat menjabat sebagai Pjs. Gubernur Aceh tahun lalu.
Gubernur Papua yang juga hadir, Lukas Enembe memberi selamat dan dukungan penuh kepada Soedarmo yang dilantik Mendagri sebagai Pjs Gubernur Papua.
