JAKARTA– Supremasi tertinggi di ajang pramusim bertajuk Piala Presiden 2018, akan diperebutkan Persija Jakarta dan Bali United pada partai final di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK), Jakarta, Sabtu (17/2) ini.
Laga ini menjadi kesempatan bagi Persija untuk membayar lunas kekalahan yang mereka alami dari Bali United, sekaligus merebut trofi Piala Presiden pertama mereka di hadapan publik Ibukota.
Bermain di SUGBK jelas merupakan kesempatan bagi tim berjuluk Macan Kemayoran tersebut untuk merasakan kembali atmosfer berbeda dengan dukungan lebih dari masyarakat Ibukota.
Sukses menggulung PSMS Medan dengan agregat telak 5-1 pada babak semifinal, juga menjadi modal lebih bagi skuad asuhan Stefano ‘Teco’ Cugurra untuk membuktikan kemampuan terbaik mereka sebelum mengarungi musim sesungguhnya di Liga 1 mendatang. “The Jakmania (suporter Persija red) pasti penuh dan itu menjadi salah satu semangat kita, semangat pemain pemain di lapangan,” kata Teco, jelang pertandingan, kemarin.
TAK REMEHKAN
Meski demikian, Teco tetap mengingatkan Ismed Sofyan dan kolega untuk tidak meremehkan Bali United yang punya rekor tak terkalahkan sejak fase penyisihan grup hingga mereka lolos ke partai final. Apalagi Bali United pernah mengalahkan Persija dengan skor 3-2 pada fase grup yang digelar di Stadion Kapten I Wayan Dipta, Gianyar pada 29 Januari 2018 lalu.
Meski demikian, Teco yakin kekalahan tersebut justru telah membuat anak-anak asuhnya belajar untuk bisa mengatasi tim berjuluk Serdadu Tridatu itu pada patai final nanti.
Namun Teco masih enggan membeberkan tentang strategi apa yang akan ia terapkan kepada Ismed dkk setelah pulang dengan kekalahan 0-3 dari klub asal Malaysia, Johor Darul Ta’zim pada fase penyisihan grup Piala AFC, Kamis (15/2).
“Kami memang punya waktu mepet. Tiba di Jakarta. Istirahat lalu coba lapangan. Strategi apa yang akan kami pakai nanti, tidak bisa kami beberkan,” jelas Teco yang akan mengandalkan mesin golnya, Marco Simic.
Sementara itu, Bali United yang sukses mendepak Sriwijaya FC dengan agregat 1-0 untuk melangkah ke final, tentu tidak ingin datang tanpa membawa pulang kemenangan. Apalagi ini menjadi kesempatan bagi mereka untuk merebut trofi pertama di ajang Piala Presiden setelah dihuni oleh sejumlah pemain bintang.
Nama-nama legiun asing, seperti Nick van der Velden, Ahn Byung-keon, Demerson, dan Kevin Brands, kemungkinan masih akan menjadi andalan pelatih Bali United, Hans Peter Schaller pada laga nanti. Belum lagi dengan kehadiran pemain naturalisasi seperti Stefano Lilipaly di lini depan Bali United.
Duel Persija-Bali United ini akan digelar pukul 19:30 dengan didahului perebutan tempat ketiga antaran PSMS-Sriwijaya FC yang dimulai pukul 15:30.(Safina/Poskota)
