Sekjen MOI Apresiasi Bamsoet Sumbang Gajinya untuk Bantu Warga Asmat

JAKARTA – Sekretaris Jendral Lembaga Kajian Nilai Menjadi Orang Indonesia yang Baik (MOI) Zulfikri D Jacub mengapresisai langkah Ketua DPR RI Bambang Soesatyo yang akan menyumbangkan seluruh gajinya sebagai pucuk pimpinan DPR untuk membantu penanganan di Asmat.

“Kami senang jika ada pejabat negara yang peduli dengan warga di Papua. Kami menghimbau agar seluruh anggota DPR lainnya menirukan langkah Ketua DPR ini,” ujar Zulfikri di Jakarta, Senin (22/1/2018).

Menurut Zul, sapaan akrabnya, apa yang dilakukan Pria yang akrab disapa Bamsoet itu menunjukkan kepekaannya kepada warga di Papua.

Dia menilai, Kejadian luar biasa (KLB) campak dan gizi buruk di Kabupaten Asmat, Papua menjadi perhatian masyarakat luas, Karena itu, apa yang dilakukan Bamsoet semoga menjadi gerakan para petinggi negara untuk menolong anak bangsa lain yang sedang mengalami kesulitan .

Sebelumnya seperti diberitakan sejumlah media, Bamsoet menegaskan bahwa dia akan serahkan seluruhnya gajinya selama 18 bulan menjabat ke depan. Bamsoet mengatakan sudah berkomunikasi dengan Menteri Sosial Idrus Marham untuk memberikan bantuannya kepada warga Asmat.

Kejadian luar biasa (KLB) campak dan gizi buruk di Kabupaten Asmat, Papua menjadi perhatian Ketua DPR Bambang Soesatyo. Ia mengaku akan menyumbangkan seluruh gajinya sebagai pucuk pimpinan DPR untuk membantu penanganan di Asmat.

“Saya akan serahkan gaji saya selama masuk periode saya, jadi saya punya waktu 18 bulan untuk serahkan seluruh gaji saya,” kata Bambang di Kompleks Parlemen, Jakarta, Senin (22/1/2018).

Pria yang akrab disapa Bamsoet itu pun sudah berkomunikasi dengan Menteri Sosial Idrus Marham untuk memberikan bantuannya kepada warga Asmat.

“Saya sudah komunikasi dengan mantan Sekjen Golkar (Idrus Marham). Saya bilang coba cari formatnya,” terang Bamsoet.

Politisi Golkar ini pun berinisiatif menggalang dana di DPR sebagai bentuk solidaritas bagi penderitaan warga Asmat.

“Kita ingin galang solidaritas di sini (DPR). Jangan hanya terlalu debat pada pasal-pasal, sekali-sekali melongok pada kesusahan. Kalau tidak sempat ke sana kirimkan aja sumbangannya,” imbau dia.

Selain penggalangan dana, Bamsoet yang juga mantan wartawan ini mengusulkan adanya penggalangan tenaga kesehatan dan ahli gizi. Sehingga, KLB yang menimpa bumi Papua tidak terjadi lagi di kemudian hari.

“Saya akan memulainya,” imbuhnya.

Sebelumnya, Menteri Sosial Idrus Marham langsung diperintahkan Presiden Jokowi turun ke Asmat. Dia diperintahkan memastikan data KLB campak dan gizi buruk di Agats, Kabupaten Asmat, Papua.

Idrus mengaku diperintahkan Jokowi segera mengambil langkah-langkah agar KLB di Asmat segera dapat diatasi.

Ia mengaku telah menugasi tim yang telah dikirim sebelumnya dan telah mengucurkan bantuan untuk musibah KLB Asmat sejumlah Rp 4 miliar berbentuk sembako dan beberapa bantuan lainnya.

Setelah melakukan pemantauan secara langsung, Mensos akan mengevaluasi bantuan yang paling dibutuhkan bagi para penderita campak dan gizi buruk di Asmat.

Diketahui, Kabupaten Asmat Provinsi Papua telah ditetapkan sebagai daerah KLB campak dan gizi buruk. Sebanyak 69 anak meninggal dunia sejak akhir September 2017. 64 diantaranya karena gizi buruk, 4 anak meninggal karena campak, dan 1 anak lainnya meninggal karena tetanus.

Jumlah korban bisa bertambah karena Pemerintah Kabupaten Asmat dan instansi terkait masih melakukan pendataan.(Ghanny/Foto: Ist).
