JAKARTA – Masa usia pendidikan anak dari 5-12 tahun merupakan masa emas (golden age) untuk menerima ilmu pengetahuan. Pada masa ini orangtua harus mengawal dengan baik pendidikan anaknya guna memastikan tidak ada infornasi negatif yang masuk ke mwmori otaknya.

Salah satu hiburan yang berbahaya bagi anak-anak saat ini ialah jenis permainan yang ada di gadget (tablet, handphone dan sejenisnya).

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) tahun 2016 telah mengeluarkan daftar 15 game yang dianggap berbahaya bagi anak.
Yaitu:

1.World of Warcraft
2. Call of Duty
3.Point Blank
4.Cross Fire
5.War Rock
6.Counter Strike
7.Mortal Kombat
8.Future Cop
9.Carmageddon
10.Shelshock
11.Raising Force
12.Atlantica
13.Conflict Vietnam
14.Bully
15.Grand Theft Auto.

Sebuah penelitian di Iowa State University Amerika Serikat mengungkapkan bahwa bermain game yang mengandung unsur kekerasan selama 20 menit dapat menyebabkan seorang anak “mati rasa”. Anak akan mudah melakukan kekerasan dan kehilangan empati kepada orang lain.

Redaksi menhgimbau agar mari kita sebarkan informasi ini guna menyelamatkan anak dan cucu kita. Dan dampingi Anak Cucu kita ketika bermain game. (Zul)
