LAS VEGAS – Hyundai Mobis akan memperkenalkan teknologi baru di Consumer Electrics Show mendatang. Teknologi yang diperkenalkan adalah DDREM (Departed Driver Rescue & Exit Maneuver) yang bertujuan untuk mencegah kecelakaan akibat sopir ketiduran.
Seperti dilansir Carscoops, teknologi ini diklaim dapat menjadi obat mujarab untuk mencegah satu dari lima penyebab kecelakaan terbesar di dunia otomotif. DDREM nantinya akan memanfaatkan kamera infra merah untuk memantau dan menganalisa wajah sopir dan pergerakan mata.
Dengan begitu, sistem tersebut dapat menangkap informasi jika sopir menunjukkan gejala mengantuk. DDREM juga memanfaatkan berbagai fitur pendukung berkendara jika sopir melakukan manuver yang memperlihatkan gejala kelelahan.
Saat DDREM menyimpulkan sang ketiduran, Level 4 autonomous driving mode akan aktif dan mengarahkan mobil ke lokasi yang aman lalu berhenti.
Menariknya, sistem ini menggunakan perangkat yang sudah banyak terpasang pada mobil produksi sekarang. Seperti electric power steering, kamera, sensor radar, dan sistem navigasi. Teknologi ini diklaim lebih terjangkau karena sistem autonomous driving hanya bekerja dalam jarak dekat, sehingga sistemnya tidak terlalu rumit.
Sebelum memulai penampilan perdananya di CES Las Vegas, Rinspeed membocorkan informasi baru mengenai Snap Concept. Mobil listrik nirsopir ini menggunakan sasis yang berbentuk seperti skateboard.
Sasis berbentuk skateboard tersebut untuk mempermudah penggantian pods yang memiliki fungsinya masing-masing. Sebagai mobil listrik yang sudah mengadopsi swakemudi sepenuhnya, Snap dilengkap dengan koneksi WiFi dan jaringan 5G.
Uniknya, untuk berkomunikasi dengan pejalan kaki maupun pengguna kendaraan bermotor lainnya, Snap menggunakan enam proyektor. Fitur ini menjadi salah satu solusi untuk berkomunikasi, karena salah satu kendala dari mobil nirsopir adalah ketidakhadiran pengemudi.
Dilansir carscoops, beragam pods akan dipersiapkan untuk Snap dengan karakter dan fungsinya masing-masing. Yang pasti, setiap pods akan disemati dengan jok berlapis kulit dan LED pada bagian interior yang mengeluarkan sinar ultraviolet untuk mencegah perkembangan bakteri.
Fitur canggih lainnya adalah pemindai mata yang mendeteksi para penumpang. Identitas tersebut akan digunakan untuk terhubung dengan jaringan cloud penumpang dan memutarkan lagu maupun film milik penumpang yang tersimpan secara online.
Rinspeed mengklaim setiap pods memiliki fitur voice-controlled personal assistant. Fitur tersebut akan mengenali kebiasaan setiap penumpang dan memberikan sugesti seperti restoran kepada penumpang.
Sasis skateboard tersebut memiliki panjang 4.685 mm dan berat 1.700 kg. Snap mengandalkan baterai 12 kWh LiFePO4 yang mengirimkan energi kepada motor elektrik. Tenaga yang dihasilkan 68 Tk. Kecepatan puncak mobil listrik nirsopir ini dibatasi 80 km/jam dan jarak tempuhnya adalah 100 km untuk sekali pengisian.(Lutfi/WB).
