Kuala Lumpur – Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) Kuala Lumpur mengimbau kepada para tenaga kerja Indonesia (TKI) ilegal agar pulang ke Tanah Air melalui Program Penghantaran Pulang Sukarela (Program P3+1).
“Kami mengimbau kepada para PATI (Pekerja Asing Tanpa Identitas) untuk mengikuti program ini,” ujar Ketua Satgas Perlindungan WNI KBRI Kuala Lumpur, Yusron B Ambary, di Kuala Lumpur, Sabtu.
Yusron mengatakan melalui program tersebut para TKI ilegal bisa kembali ke Indonesia melalui jalan yang sah, nyaman dan aman.
Dia mengatakan pemerintah Malaysia telah memperpanjang Program 3+1 hingga 30 Juni 2018.
Pemerintah Malaysia telah menunjuk delapan perusahaan yang dapat menerima pendaftaran program tersebut, yakni Bukit Mahligai Sdn Bhd, Bukit Megah Sdn Bhd, Harfaase Resource Sdn Bhd, International Marketing and Net Resource Sdn Bhd, kericom Sdn Bhd, Perunding Zon Jenih Sdn Bhd, PMF Consortium dan Profound Radiance Sdn Bhd.
Pada kesempatan yang sama Yusron menyampaikan kalau program perekrutan kembali atau re-hiring telah resmi berakhir pada 31 Desember 2017.
“Kementerian Dalam Negeri Malaysia secara resmi telah menyampaikan kepada KBRI dan Kedubes negara asing melalui surat. Namun demikian, bagi yang sudah mendaftar diberikan waktu untuk menyelesaikan proses pengurusan dokumen hingga 30 Juni 2018,” tuturnya.
Sehubungan hal tersebut, ujar Yusron, KBRI mengimbau kepada seluruh WNI yang ada di Malaysia agar berhati-hati dan tidak terbujuk dengan tawaran program re-hiring dari pihak-pihak tertentu.
Program perekrutan kembali merupakan suatu inisitif yang dilancarkan oleh pemerintah Malaysia yang bertujuan untuk memberi peluang kepada PATI yang bekerja secara ilegal di Malaysia agar diberikan izin kerja yang sah untuk memenuhi sektor pekerjaan yang dibutuhkan.(Lutfi/Ant).
