Jakarta – Asus membuka tahun 2018 dengan meresmikan hadirnya notebook gaming terbaru yakni ASUS ROG GL503 di pasaran Indonesia.
Sebagai bagian dari lini notebook ASUS Republic of Gamers, ROG Strix seri GL503 membawa sejumlah upgrade signifikan baik dari desain maupun performa dibandingkan varian terdahulu.
Dari sisi desain, ASUS ROG Strix GL503 tampil premium sehingga mampu memuaskan para gamers dengan desain futuristis. Bagi pengguna non gamers, desain terbaru yang digunakan oleh ROG Strix ini juga sangat elegan.
“Sebagai pemilik brand ROG, ASUS senantiasa memberikan penyempurnaan dan inovasi pada setiap produknya,” kata Galip Fu, Country Marketing Manager ASUS Indonesia dalam keterangan pers yang diterima ANTARA News, Kamis.
“Melalui seri ROG Strix GL503, ASUS memoles desainnya sedemikian rupa, sehingga tidak hanya terlihat lebih menarik, sekaligus juga lebih modern dan elegan,” ujarnya.
Asus ROG Strix GL503, Galip menambahkan, dipersiapkan untuk para gamer profesional yang memiliki motivasi dan minat yang tinggi untuk menjadi seorang juara.
“Melalui penyegaran pada desain dan performanya, kami yakin perangkat ini bisa menjadi senjata ampuh untuk mengalahkan musuh di luar sana,” tambahnya.
Menurut Galip, penyegaran pada desain, dapat ditemui pada tampilan cover depan, bobot, serta dimensi portabilitasnya.
Secara keseluruhan, perangkat ini memiliki berat hanya 2,3 kg dengan dimensi atau ketebalan 2,3 cm saja.
“Logo ROG yang biasanya terletak di tengah, kini bergeser sedikit ke kanan cover yang dibelah dengan garis diagonal sehingga menimbulkan kesan jantan,” ungkap Galip.
Dari sisi performa, Asus menyematkan prosesor Intel Core i7 generasi ke-7 dan kartu grafis Nvidia GTX1050 di dalam notebook ini.
“Kolaborasi di antara kedua komponen ini mampu memberikan kinerja sistem olah komputasi maupun gaming yang andal dan secara keseluruhan akan mampu memuaskan penggunanya,” sebut Galip.
Performa gaming yang superior
Di balik desainnya yang tipis dan ringan, Asus ROG GL503 menyimpan performa yang gahar dengan hadirnya prosesor Intel Core i7-7700HQ berkecepatan 2,8GHz yang bisa dimaksimalkan hingga 3,8GHz.
Untuk memori utamanya, Asus memberikan kapasitas ruang sebesar 8GB bertipe DDR4. Dukungan ini akan memuluskan kinerja sistem untuk mengolah performa komputasi dengan lancar, terutama dalam aspek multitasking. Sementara untuk gaming, peran kartu grafis Nvidia GTX 1050 dengan VRAM 4GB GDDR5, memungkinkan notebook untuk mengolah grafis lebih mulus, tajam, dan memanjakan mata sebab telah dilengkapi dengan teknologi panel layar 50 persen lebih baik dari kompetitor.
Perihal media penyimpanan, Asus memberikan peningkatan performa read maupun write-nya agar semakin nyaman digunakan. Melalui teknologi hybrid HDD berkapasitas 1TB, storage sanggup menghadirkan application maupun gaming loading time alias kecepatan loading dalam membuka aplikasi dan game, dua kali lebih gesit dibandingkan HDD konvensional.
“Hybrid HDD juga memiliki suara yang senyap dan tenang saat digunakan, membuat sistem berjalan lebih stabil secara keseluruhan sebab memiliki ruang cache memori sendiri sebesar 8GB,” ujar Galip. “Seluruh kombinasi komponen di atas pada akhirnya akan menghadirkan performa gaming yang superior,” ujarnya.
RGB keyboard yang lebih futuristik
Diilhami oleh desain keyboard pada komputer dekstop, Asus memberikan layout keyboard untuk ROG GL503 menggunakan full-size chicklet keyboard yang dilengkapi dengan backlight dan jarak tekan sebesar 0.25 milimeter yang memastikan kenyamanan pengguna dalam bermain. Tak hanya itu, Asus juga memperhatikan kebutuhan para gamers, oleh karena itu, ditambahkan tanda khusus pada tombol WASD untuk memudahkan pengguna saat bermain dalam suasana ruangan yang redup.
“Kami pun tidak luput menyematkan dukungan RGB dengan 4 warna lampu yakni, merah, kuning, hijau dan ungu. Keyboard tersebut juga telah melalui pengujian ketat sehingga mampu bertahan hingga meski ditekan hingga 20 juta kali sekalipun,” kata Galip.
Galip menambahkan, pengguna juga tidak perlu khawatir akan suhu berlebih. Asus yang merupakan produsen utama motherboard di dunia telah mempersiapkan teknologi Hyper Cool duo-copper thermal solution yang diletakkan pada CPU dan GPU notebook Asus ROG GL503 untuk menghasilkan pendinginan maksimal. Di samping itu, Asus juga menyertakan fitur IceCool Technology yang menjaga bagian notebook yang tersentuh telapak tangan tetap dingin.
Sebagai tambahan, Asus turut melengkapi teknologi terbaru pada notebook ini dengan port USB Type-C (USB 3.1 Gen 2) dengan kecepatan transfer data yang tinggi hingga 1GB per detik, port USB Type-C ini pun memiliki bentuk yang kecil dan simetris, sehingga mempermudah pemasangan ke port USB tanpa khawatir terbalik.
ASUS ROG GL503 dibanderol dengan harga dimulai dari Rp Rp15.799.000.(Lutfi/Ant).
