Jakarta – Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno mengatakan tingkat kemacetan menurun setelah dilakukan penataan Pedagang Kecil Mandiri (PKM) di kawasan Tanah Abang mulai Jumat (22/12).
“Data tersebut belumlah data valid. Karena, pengukuran yang hitung sejak 23-26 Desember itu di tengah kondisi masa liburan. Dimana traffic lalu lintas tidaklah sepadat seperti hari biasanya,” kata Sandiaga di Balai Kota DKI Jakarta, Jumat malam.
Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta memiliki konsep baru dalam penataan kawasan Tanah Abang. Dengan menyinergikan sejumlah moda transportasi massal dan pusat perdagangan, kawasan Tanah Abang yang memang strategis akan semakin tertata dan menjadi downtown Jakarta di masa depan, katanya.
Dari evaluasi selama sepekan penutupan Jalan Jati Baru Raya, kemacetan pada tanggal 23 hingga 26 Desember 2017 yaitu rata-rata sebesar 56 persen dibandingkan seminggu sebelumnya, katanya.
“Selama penutupan jalan diberlakukan, sisi Jalan Jati Baru lainnya digunakan sebagai jalur shuttle bus yang disediakan PT. Transjakarta secara gratis, sehingga warga dapat mengelilingi kawasan Tanah Abang dengan mudah,” kata Sandiaga.
PT Transjakarta menyiapkan 10 shuttle bus yang dilengkapi stiker “Tanah Abang Explorer”. Satu unit bus dapat menampung 66 penumpang, katanya.
Penataan kawasan Tanah Abang yang bertajuk #SinergiTanahAbang dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Untum tahap pertama atau jangka pendek, Pemprov DKI Jakarta memberlakukan penutupan salah satu sisi Jalan Jati Baru di depan pintu lama Stasiun Tanah Abang yang kemudian digunakan sebagai lokasi berjualan para PKM.(Lutfi/Ant).

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
