JAKARTA – Pemilihan umum kepala daerah (Pemilukada) pada tahun 2018 akan diikuti 171 daerah baik provinsi maupun kabupaten kota. Tahun 2024, akan ada 34 gubernur yang akan ikut pemilu.
Untuk Provinsi DKI Jakarta, pemilihan kepala daerah baru saja kita lakukan dan telah ada gubernur baru terpilih yaitu Anies Baswedan dan Sandiaga Uno. Karena itu, di Jakarta hanya akan ada 1 pemilihan lagi yaitu Pemilihan Umum Serentak untuk memilih Presiden dan Wakil Presiden, DPR RI, DPD dan DPRD. Sementara di daerah, itu 5 pilihan yaitu memilih Presiden dan Wapres, DPR RI, DPD, DPRD Provinsi dan DPRD Kab. Kota.
“Jadi Pemilu Serentak di Jakarta anda hanya cukup 1 kali datang ke Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) untuk memilih 4 pemimpin yaitu Presiden, DPR RI, DPRD dan DPD,” ujar Direktur Politik Dalam Negeri, DR. Bahtiar, M.Si ketika membuka acara Pendidikan Politik yang diadakan oleh Direktorat Politik Dalam Negeri Ditjen Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum di Hotel Losari, Kamis (30/11/2017).
Bahtiar menjelaskan, pemilu merupakan mekanisme 5 tahunan untuk memilih pejabat baik di tingkat kabupaten, provinsi maupun memilih presiden dan wakilnya. Rakyat berdaulat dengan hak konstitusionalnya untuk memilih pemimpin sesuai hati nurani mereka.
Intinya, rakyat itu berdaulat dan punya hak untuk dipilih atau memilih. Anda bisa mencalonkan diri menjadi anggota DPR RI, DPD ataupun DPRD. Karena pemilu ini memilih pemimpin anda, pastikan anda memilih pemimpin yang tepat.
Sementara Kasubdit Pendidikan etika dan Budaya Politik Direktorat Poldagri, Cahyo Ariawan, M.Si dalam laporan kegiatannya mengatakan Pendidikan Politik ini diikuti 120 peserta dari masyarakat sekitar DKI Jakarta.
Kepada para peserta Cahyo mengingatkan Pemilu Serentak 2019 di Jakarta ini perlu antisipasi akan munculnya gesekan-gesekan antar kelompok pendukung sebagaimana pengalaman pada Pilkada DKI Jakara kemarin. Yang tak kalah pentingnya yaitu faktor pengawasan yang perlu dilakukan baik oleh pemerintah melalui penyelenggara pemilu maupun oleh masyarakat.
“Kami mengharapkan peran aktif masyarakat untuk turut menjaga pemilu dan juga mengawasi prosesnya agar pemilu ini berjalan dengan transparan, aman dan lancar,” pungkasnya. (Endi & Zul)
