SURABAYA Kejahatan narkoba sudah merupakan kejahatan serius dan sistematis yang harus terus dilawan bersama. Peran masyarakat umum, tokoh agama, ormas, LSM, Mahasiswa hingga Pelajar diperlukan dalam membantu peran pemerintah yang terbatas dalam memerangi Narkoba.

Perang terhadap Narkoba ini merupakan perang untuk menyelamatkan peradaban. Kita tidak boleh kalah dalam perang peradaban ini karena masa depan generasi mendatang menjadi taruhannya, ujar Direktur Ketahanan Ekonomi, Sosial dan Budaya, Drs. Lutfi TMA M,Si ketika memberikan sambutan sekaligus membuka Kegiatan Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkoba (P4GN) bagi Masyarakat dan Pelajar di Hotel Swiss-Belinn Manyar, Surabaya, Selasa (29/11/2017).

Menurut Lutfi, Kementrian Dalam Negeri melalui Direktorat Ketahanan Ekonomi, Sosial dan Budaya Direktorat Jenderal Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum (Polpum) penyebaran Narkoba kini terus aktif untuk mengkampanyekan perang melawan Narkoba yang saat ini sudah memasuki semua kalangan dari mulai pelajar, PNS hingga eksekutif.

Kita akan kehilangan generasi terbaik (the loss generation) 20-30 tahun mendatang jika kita gagal memerangi Narkoba, tegas Lutfi.

Karena itu, kata Lutfi, pemerintah mengajak masyarakat, mahasiswa dan pelajar untuk minimal menolak memakai Narkoba. Dengan menolak mengkonsumsinya, maka adik-adik sudah membantu pemerintah. Setelah berhasil menolak, barulah adik-adik bisa membantu menjaga lingkungan dengan menyadarkan kawan dan kerabat akan bahayanya mengkonsumsikan Narkoba.

Kemendagri, kata Lutfi, sudah bekerjasama dengan Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) secara aktif melakukan sosialisasi pencegahan Narkoba. Kewenangan kami pada level kebijakan sementara BNN pada ranah tindakan, ujarnya.

Diakuinya, para mafia Narkoba ini piawai dalam mendistribusikan Narkoba. Data Kementrian Kesehatan mencatat saat ini ada 138 jenis obat-obatan sintetis yang bisa dikategorikan mengandung unsur Narkoba. Nah di luar jenis, itu masih banyak obat-obatan sintetis yang masuk bebas karena belum ada kebijakan yang melarangnya.

Kemendagri memberi apresiasi terhadap BNN dan kepolisian yang telah aktif melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mencegah dan memberantas penyalahgunaan dan peredaran gelap narkotika, mulai dari kegiatan pemberantasan antara lain melalui pengungkapan jaringan penyelundupan narkotika dan pengungkapan pabrik gelap narkotika, kegiatan pencegahan antara melalui kampanye nasional program Pencegahan, Pemberantasan,

Para Mafia Narkoba ini pandai berbisnis Narkoba di mana mereka berbisnis di luar jenis Narkoba yang belum dilarang pemerintah beber Lutfi.

Sementara itu, dalam laporan kegiatannya, Kasubdit Ketahanan Sosial dan Kemasyarakatan Kemendagri, Sri Rosmalawati mengatakan kegiatan ini diikuti 120 peserta terdiri dari masyarakat umum, tokoh agama, ormas, LSM, Mahasiswa hingga Pelajar.

Kegiatan ini menghadirkan Nara Sumber dari unsur BNNP Jawa Timur, yang membahas tentang Peran BNNP dalam Upaya P4GN) dan Rehabilitasi Penyalahgunaan/Pecandu Narkoba serta Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (Penggiat anti Narkoba) di Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Timur, Thomas Avitho (mantan pecandu), yang menjadi testimoni pemakai Narkoba, dan Dokter pada BNNP Jawa Timur membahas tentang Dampak bahaya Narkoba, Rehabilitasi Medis, dan Rehabilitasi Sosial bagi Penyalahguna/pecandu narkoba.

Pada sesi kedua, pembicara dari Kepala Badan Kesbangpol Prov. JawaTimur yang membahas tentang Peran Kesbangpol Prov. Jatim dalam Upaya Pencegahan Penyalahgunaan Narkoba, Asisten Deputi Kepemudaan Kemenko PMK yang mengulas tentang Pencegahan Bahaya Narkoba di kalangan Pemuda, dan Direktur Narkoba Polda Jatim yang mengulas tentang Penindakan, Pemberantassan bagi Penyalahguna dan Bandar Narkoba di Prov.
