Seskoal,- Segenap warga Sekolah Staf dan Komando Angkatan Laut (Seskoal) memperingati Tahun Baru Islam 1 Muharram 1439 H/2017 M dengan menghadirkan penceramah KH Said Kamil Ali, S.H., Jumát (22/09), di Masjid Nurul Iman Seskoal Cipulir Jakarta Selatan. Hadir pada acara tersebut Wakil Komandan Seskoal Laksamana Pertama TNI TSNB. Hutabarat, M. MS., Sekretaris Lembaga (Seklem) Seskoal Kolonel Laut (P) Gusmaidi, S.Mn., M.M., para pejabat Utama Seskoal, Patun dan Dosen serta segenap Perwira, Bintara, Tamtama dan Aparat Sipil Negara (ASN) Seskoal.

Wadan Seskoal dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa peringatan tahun baru Islam kali ini, memiliki makna penting bagi warga Seskoal sebagai momen untuk koreksi diri dan persiapan melaksanakan tugas-tugas kedepan untuk mewujudkan Seskoal yang lebih baik sebagai Center of Excellence Naval and Maritime Science Studies. Setiap anggota Seskoal dituntut memiliki semangat hijrah  untuk terus membangun dengan dilandasi etos kerja keras, solidaritas dan semangat rela berkorban.

Sementara itu penceramah KH Said Kamil Ali, S.H. menyampaikan bahwa momentum pergantian tahun Islam merupakan saat yang tepat bagi umat muslim untuk melakukan perenungan sekaligus memetik pelajaran dari peristiwa-peristiwa yang telah dilalui untuk dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitas iman dan taqwa dengan cara selalu bersyukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas nikmat dan karunia-Nya serta selalu ingat mati karena datangnya tiba-tiba tanpa kita tahu sebelumnya.

Peringatan Tahun Baru Islam kali ini mengambil tema “Melalui hikmah tahun baru Islam1439 H/2017 M kita mantapkan jati diri TNI menuju sikap mental yang lebih baik guna mewujudkan prajurit yang kuat, hebat, profesional dan dicintai rakyat”.
